These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MyIntro website, application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”) operated by MyIntro. By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account details up to date. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
The Services
MyIntro provides tools for job seekers to build career profiles, record video introductions, verify identity, share profiles via links and QR codes, export PDF resumes, and view engagement analytics. Features may change over time as we improve the platform.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit, including profile information, videos, and documents. You grant MyIntro a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content solely as necessary to operate and improve the Services.
You represent that you have the rights to upload your content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights or violate applicable law.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Uploading false, misleading, defamatory, harassing, or unlawful content.
- Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your identity or qualifications.
- Attempting to access accounts or data without authorization.
- Interfering with or disrupting the Services, including through automated scraping or abuse.
- Using the Services for spam, unsolicited outreach, or any purpose unrelated to professional career presentation.
- Circumventing security features or identity verification requirements.
Identity verification
Identity verification is optional. If you submit verification documents, you authorize us to process them for identity confirmation. A verification badge indicates that we completed our verification process at the time of review; it is not a guarantee of employment suitability or background clearance.
Sharing and public profiles
When you share a profile link or QR code, recipients you share with may view the content you have made available on that profile. You are responsible for deciding what to share and with whom. Analytics features may show you information about profile views and engagement.
AI features
The Services may include AI-assisted features such as video coaching and feedback. AI-generated suggestions are provided for informational purposes only and may not always be accurate or complete. You are responsible for reviewing content before sharing it publicly.
Intellectual property
The Services, including our software, branding, design, and documentation, are owned by MyIntro or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
Third-party services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYINTRO AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyIntro from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time and may request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk for us or other users, or as required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Services or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where MyIntro operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
